Text messaging and your mobile information
We run two text-messaging programs, described in full in our Text Messaging Terms: WindowWorks Service Texts (confirmations, reminders, and job updates) and WindowWorks Offers & Reminders (promotions and seasonal reminders). You choose each one separately. On our website, that is a separate, unchecked box on the estimate, call-back, and maintenance-plan forms and on our sign-up page at wwofwa.com/updates, which also offers marketing email. You can also opt in by texting us first, or by asking a team member, who records your consent. Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in this Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, your text-messaging opt-in, or your consent with any third party for purposes unrelated to sending you the messages you signed up for. The messaging provider that transmits our texts receives only what it needs to deliver them, on our behalf and under contract, and may not use it for anything else. We keep a record of each opt-in (the number, the date and time, the program, the wording you agreed to, and where it happened) so we can prove your consent and honor your choices.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers who work for us under contract and may use the information only to perform services for us: our customer-management and scheduling system, our payment processor, our email and text-message delivery providers, our website host and analytics tools, and the tools our crews use to document jobs with photos.
- Legal and safety: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WindowWorks, our customers, our team, or others.
- Business transfers: if WindowWorks is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
- At your direction: for example, when you ask us to share information with your real estate agent, property manager, or insurer.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
