Holiday Lighting in Duvall

Holiday Lighting in Duvall, WA

Duvall climbs from the river up a wooded hillside, so half the town looks at the other half. A house on that slope is on display whether you light it or not. It is a good argument for a run that is straight and evenly spaced.

Old Town Duvall and Cherry Valley homes are older with bigger trees around them, so the lines worth lighting are up where the branches are not. The Big Rock plats went in around the same time as each other, and a design cut to your house keeps yours from blending into the street. Batten Road and Lake Rasmussen properties usually have room for a lit tree.

Colors, light type and features get agreed first, then the lights are sized and cut to fit. Our crews handle the hanging, steep pitches included. Anything that fails mid-season gets fixed, and everything comes down after the holidays.

Duvall questions

Do we pick the colors, or do you?
You do. Colors, light type and which features get lit are your calls, and we say what we think will look right before anything is cut.
Do you only light the street side?
No. You choose which elevations and features get lit. On this hillside the side facing the valley is often what people actually see, so it is worth thinking about.

Why it matters

The problem this solves.

Putting up holiday lights yourself means hours on a ladder in cold, wet, slippery PNW weather, fighting tangled strands and dead bulbs, then doing the whole thing in reverse in January after the magic has worn off. The spots that make a house look incredible, the roofline, the peaks, the tall trees, are exactly the ones that are hardest and least safe to reach on your own.

How we do it

Our approach.

It starts with a short design conversation: the colors you want, the look you are going for, and the features you want lit, whether that is a clean run along the roofline, the peaks and gables, the trees and walkways, or one statement tree. We size and custom-cut professional-grade lights to fit your home, so the runs look intentional rather than store-bought. Our crews hang them from roofline height the same way they handle every other job here, trained and insured for it, including tall and steeply pitched roofs. Through the season we come back and fix anything that fails, so your display never sits half dark. After the holidays we take it all down, and we can store everything until next year so your garage stays yours.

  • A design consult to plan the colors, the look, and which features to light
  • Professional-grade lights sized and custom-cut to your home, in the colors you choose
  • Roofline, peaks and gables, trees, walkways, and statement pieces like a single lit tree
  • Installation by insured crews trained to work safely at roofline height, including tall and steep roofs
  • In-season maintenance, so if a bulb or strand fails we come back and make it right
  • Takedown and removal after the holidays, with nothing left for you to do
  • Optional off-season storage, so your lights are ready to go next year
  • Christmas and Halloween displays both

Why WindowWorks

Who shows up matters.

Anyone can rent a pressure washer. After 20+ years on Eastside exteriors, and a 4.9 rating across 300+ reviews, we can tell you the real difference is the person holding the wand: what they know, how they were trained, and whether the company behind them takes care of them. We take care of our techs, so they take care of your property.

  • Background-checked

Every technician is background-checked before they ever step onto a customer's property.

  • Certified, skill by skill

Our crews earn certification across 369 individual skills in 10 categories, each one signed off by an evaluator, never just by clocking time.

  • Paid like professionals

A living wage, healthcare, and dental. People who are treated well do careful work, and they stay, so you see the same faces.

  • Licensed, bonded, and insured

With OSHA-aligned safety training for the at-height work. If someone is on your roof, they are trained and covered for exactly that.

  • Method matched to the surface

Soft wash where pressure would damage, hot water where cold cannot lift, the right chemistry for the stain. The method follows the surface, not the other way around.

  • Documented before and after

Every job is photographed before and after, so you can see exactly what changed and keep it on file.

Common questions

Good to know.

Do you provide the lights, or do I supply them?

We help you choose and source professional-grade lights, sized and cut to fit your home in the colors you want. If you have a specific bulb or look in mind, tell us and we will track it down.

Can you reach a tall or steeply pitched roof?

Yes. Our crews work at roofline height on every service we offer, including three-story and steeply pitched homes, and they are trained and insured for exactly that. If you have wanted lights up high for years without a safe way to do it, this is the service for that.

What if a light goes out during the season?

We come back and fix it. In-season maintenance is part of the service, so a failed bulb or strand does not leave your display half dark through the holidays.

Do you take the lights down too?

Yes. We remove everything after the holidays and can store it for you until next year, so there is no January ladder day and no box of tangled strands in your garage.

When should I book?

Early fall. We install through late fall and into December and the calendar fills, so reserving in September or October gets you both the date and the design you want.
